Is the Community tier really free forever?

Yes. Communities, DAOs, CTO projects, and individuals will always have free access to core vault management. We believe multisig security should be accessible to everyone.

What counts as "commercial use"?

Any for-profit business or organization generating revenue. If your organization has paying customers, employees, or commercial operations managed through X-Multi, you need a Pro or Enterprise plan.

Can I self-host X-Multi?

Yes. The source code is available under the Business Source License (BSL). Non-commercial self-hosting is free. Commercial self-hosting requires a Pro or Enterprise license.

What happens after 4 years?

Per the BSL license, each version of X-Multi converts to Apache 2.0 (fully open source) after 4 years. This guarantees long-term openness while protecting our ability to build a sustainable business today.

How does the Auth API work?

Any dApp can call GET xmulti.app/api/verify/{txHash} to verify a vault authentication session. The Community tier can create auth sessions but API access for dApp integration requires Pro.
